James Gatdet Dak denies having defected from SPLM/A-IO

Juba, South Sudan

According to James Gatdet he has been informed of his defection, which he believes is making headlines on social media; however, he can’t confirm which party he has defected to.

“In a nutshell, I am informed that someone or some people have misled the public on social media that I had defected to ‘NOWHERE”, Dak stated on his Facebook page.

According to Gatdet, his defection was not published by Radio Tamazuj  but he failed to quote the sources that published it.

“Radio Tamazuj did NOT publish such a made-up story. Check their website: www.radiotamazuj.org. It is not there. This is simply to further mislead people”, Dak clarifies in a statement.

In a statement seen by Nyamilepedia he said he is very sorry to proof wrong those who wish him to defect to “wherever”.

“Well, sorry to disappoint those who wish me to defect to whatever. This is a mere wishful thinking”,Dak emphasized.

Justifying his silence, Gatdet said he remains silence for his own reasons because he is on extended leave and his office is aware.

“.. I remain quiet currently simply because I am still on an extended leave with a permission from my leader! I have been in contact with my office in Juba. So my being silent for now should not be misconstrued by spoilers”, Dak lamented.

“I am rather expecting others to rejoin us in the near future in a new peaceful dispensation when the season of confusion is over and the dust has settled”, he further stressed.

He reiterates that he would have ignored the rumors; however, he was advised to respond or else the rumors would mislead others.

“. I tried to ignore the fake news but others advised me to respond, saying there are others who might be misled by it”,he added.
