January 24, 2022—South Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Mayiik Ayik Deng has traveled to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a working three-day visit.
In a statement by Press Unit of foreign ministry, Hon. Deng arrived in Saudi Arabia capital, Riyadh yesterday afternoon.
“.. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Mayiik Ayik Deng and the accompanying delegation have this afternoon touched down at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the United Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”, the statement reads.
According to the statement, the minister is expected to commence his three-day working visit today January 24th, 2022 with bilateral meetings with his Saudi counterpart as well as with other senior Saudi Government officials to discuss matters of mutual interest between the two countries.
The minister’s delegation was received upon arrival at the Airport by the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia and South Sudan Ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
