July 12th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The head of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition(SPLM-IO) Chapter in Victoria, Australia, has been suspended after a disagreement over who would attend a meeting.
According to a letter of a complaint raised and seen by the Nyamilepedia, a man called Chuol Yat claimed that he was thrown out of a meeting by the Chairperson of the SPLM-IO Chapter.
However, Nyajany Wal, the Chairperson who spoke to the Nyamilepedia on Wednesday, said Chuol was not suppose to attend the meeting because he is not among the members of the financial team, the only people who were required to attend the meeting.
Nyajany said she threatened Chuol to call police if he do not want to leave the venue of the meeting.
“He (Chuol Yat) is not an SPLM IO member (not in our financial members list) and the event was for financial members only. I asked him to leave but he refused, but left after I threatened to call the police. The so called Rev. Abused me on his way out” she said in a statement she extended to the Nyamilepedia.
The Nyamilepedia was unable to reach Chuol Yat for comment as he was not available.
The Chairperson, Nyajany, was elected last year as the Chairperson of the SPLM-IO Chapter in Victoria, Australia.
