December 16th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan government forces on Friday attacked a rebel hide-out in the country’s Yei River state, an opposition spokesman said in a statement on Monday.

Suba Samuel Manase, the spokesman for National Salvation Front (NAS) led by General Thomas Cirilo Swaka, said government troops attacked their positions in Lasu Payam and Mitika area on Friday afternoon.

“The attack continued for the last two days in which the NAS gallant buy klonopin 2mg forces fought back in self-defense and repulsed the attackers,” Manase said.

The rebel official further claimed that the attacking government forces lost nineteen (19) soldiers in the battle. He further accused the government forces of killing six civilians in a separate incident along Lainya-Yei road.

“NAS is committed to the Cessations of Hostilities (CoHA), signed in December 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; however it reserves the right to self-defense,” said Manase.
