He said one of the reasons he resign is his realization of the dislike of the government by his community members who persuaded him to resign from what they called a tribal government.

“I have realized that all my community members are not happy with the government of South Sudan as they call it tribal government. They seriously advised me to resign and quit completely because of many reasons known to everybody,” he said.

He said by the notice, he has resigned as the government appointed commissioner of Ulang County and joined the rebel movement under the leadership of the country’s former First Vice-President Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon

I have quit not only the state government of Latjor but the whole government of South Sudan and have declared to join the SPLM/SPLA-IO under the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon,” he further said in the letter.

The strong advice must be giving to those people who change their side when they sees maybe peace agreement will yield fruit. These people would be the sources of new conflict because the pro government wouldn’t like them to share government any more and the same thing on the rebels side also. African leaders do not want any divide government in South Sudan and this is why people this time need to works so hard to avoid any negative which driving South Sudanese to conflict. Neither side must tell the defectors people why they waited until the time for peace? I think our people are sicken, confusing themselves while, the innocents people in South Sudan and the refugees in the others countries wants peace, unity, development and they do need to sees the continuation of fueling conflict any more. The image of the new country is already damaged, the citizens are felling hopeless and the future of our next generations is not in the minds of people who claims to lead us in South Sudan. Let us stop habits of conflict and find way to gets back and if not thus, the future of South Sudanese people unknown.
