November 25th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Sudan’s deputy leader of the Sovereignty Council General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (also known as Hemeti) is in Juba for a follow-up meeting on the implementation of the security arrangements, the Sudanese media has reported.
The state-owned Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported on Monday that General Hemeti who was accompanied by members of the Sovereignty Council and Sudan’s intelligence chief, General Jamal Abdul Majid, will also meet President Salva Kiir.
“The First Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo headed to Juba, capital of South Sudan, on Sunday for a two-day official visit,” the SUNA reported.
“The visit comes within the framework of consultation with South Sudan leaders over the implementation of the security arrangements and the peace agreement – to which Sudan is a guarantor – between the South Sudan parties,” the SUNA added.
