This comes in less than two days after Kitgwang military spokesman, William Gatjiath Deng sneaked to Juba without permission from his Boss.

” I won’t be in position to confirm it because my office has not been officially notified”, Koang said in a statement obtained by Nyamilepedia.

He said, he was aware of the fact that Gen. Gatjiath came to Juba but arguing that what has been said and what is going to be a reality in the end are different things.

” I have been hearing since Friday that, he defected, but of course declaring it is one thing, but being officially notified through our chain of command”,Maj. Gen. Lul said in the statement added.

“.. I would like wait until my office is officially notified, and he will be the one to give the reason for his defection”, Koang emphasized.

The senior military spokesman said although he is not officially informed, he assures the public that it will not take two to three days before he makes his statement.

Gen. William Gatjiath Deng defected in Khartoum after traveling to the Sudanese capital as part of the rebels’ delegation to meet the South Sudanese government delegation.
