October 9th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The leader of the South Sudan United Movement (SSUM) Gen. Peter Gatdet Yaka has promoted the Secreatry of Information and the SSUM official spokeserson as well as his military spokesman who is promoted from Colonel to the rank of Brigadier General.
Juan Dar Dobuol, SSUM Secretary of Information and Official Spokesman for the movement was promoted to the rank of Major General along with the militray spokesman Wijang Duop Mathot who was promoted to teh rank of Brigadier General from the rank of Colonel.
“In accordance with Manifesto act of South Sudan United Movement/Army of 2015/2016, I, 1st Lt. Gen. Peter Gatdet Yak, Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of SSUM/SSUAF promotes Brig. Gen. Juan Dar Dobuol to the rank of Major General and promoting ENg. Col. Wijang Duop Mathot (SSUAF) Army Spokesman to the rank of Brigadier General,” Gen. Gatdet said in a order seen by the Nyamilepedia.
The promotion, according to teh order issued by the leader of the South Sudan United Movement, is effective from the 8th of October, the day Gen. Gatdet signed the document for the promotion of the officers.
In recent days, Gen. Gatdet has been structuring his movement’s military wing. He appointed a Chief of General Staff for his movement last week along with deputy chief of stuffs and other officers who were assigned to different military capacities.
