Gen. Buay Rolnyang appoints his son to a top position in SSPM/A

Juba, South Sudan

August 23, 2021—The Chairman of South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) Gen. Stephen Buay Rolnyang has appointed his own son, Sunday Buoy Rolnyang as the National Director for legal affairs.

In a statement, Gen. Buay Rolnyang, chairman and Commander-In-Chief of SSPM/A appoints Sunday Buoy Rolnyang on Friday 20th of August 2021 as the National Director for legal affairs with immediate effect.

“In exercise of the authority vested in me as Interim Chairman and Commander_In_Chief of South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A), and based on the recommendations from the members of NEC, I, Gen. Stephen Buay Rolnyang, Interim Chairman and Commander_In_Chief of SSPM/A, do hereby appoint Cde Sunday Buay Rolnyang as National Director for legal affairs with effect from 20/08/2021”,

“The Interim Chairman and Commander_In_Chief of the SSPM/A congratulates and wishes him success and prosperity in the SSPM/A”, Gen. Stephen Buay Rolnyang stated in a statement.

In his part, Sunday Buay Rolnyang stated that he was very excited and appreciative to the SSPM/A leadership for the trust vested on him and he believes that he will exert more efforts in their quest to bring an inclusive and sustainable change in South Sudan.

“I would like to thank the leadership of South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) for the trust bestowed upon me by appointing me as National director for legal affairs along with all the comrades that were appointed to take up other various tasks in the movement.” Sunday Buoy Rolnyang said in a brief statement.

“I am delighted and look forward to adding more effort to bring about change, justice and equality to our country in my new position in the People’s movement”, He continued.
