October 7th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The former Kapoeta governor of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO), Marko Lokidor Lochapio, who was abducted and smuggled to the country in December 2017 is reportedly being detained at the National Security Headquarters in the National Security, reports have said.

A former South Sudan National Security officer, Kerbino Wol, who has been under detention in the national security headquarters also known as “Blue House” have taken control of the NSS demanding an immediate release of the prisoners as per the presidential order for the release of the detainees.

Captain Wol told the Radio Tamazuj this afternoon that Marko Lokidor Lochapio, the former SPLM-IO governor of Kapoeta state is being detained with them despite government denial that they do not know some one with the same name.

“I am now with Biar Ajak, Abraham Majak and a young man called Marko Lokidor Lochapio. There are more than 300 detainees including foreign nationals in detention,” he told the Radio Tamazuj.

He said however that he could not see Aggrey Iddri, a senior SPLM-IO official and Dong Samuel Luak, an ethnic Nuer activist abducted together with Aggrey in 2017 from Kenya by government security operatives.

“I want to say Lokidor who was kidnapped in Kakuma is her. I have not seen those of Dong and Aggrey,” he added.
