August 03, 2016(Nyamilepedia) ——- Speaking today from Denver, Colorado, the former Secretary General of SPLM and the Chairman of the Former Political Detainees(FDs), Pagan Amum Okiech, has declared the peace agreement is dead and calls on the International Community to temporarily take over the country.
Pagan dismissed earlier claims of coups by president Salva Kiir and his officials saying that the two alleged coups were organized and executed by President Salva Kiir against the Constitution of South Sudan in 2013 and that of the Agreement on Resolution of Conflict in South Sudan(ARCISS) in 2016.
Pagan said that president Salva Kiir has failed to manage the country and instead he has committed genocides against the Nuer nation, a claim some Nuer loyalists including Taban Deng Gai, who negotiated the agreement, may deny.
“He started this war and made it tribal. He committed terrible massacres, literally genocides in Juba targeting our Nuer nationality and he claimed that it was a coup, and that he foiled a coup attempt. If there was a coup at that time it was a coup by president Kiir against the constitution of South Sudan” Pagan said.

The former SG, who is now running an advocacy group in the United State, said that the claim that the first Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar, has committed a coup in 2016 does not make sense.
Pagan believes that if Dr. Riek committed a coup then how comes the president “protected him” at his palace but only to order his killing the following day.
He said South Sudan has no government and what now exists in the country is illegal and must be replaced by a government of technocrats if the international community intervenes.
Pagan left the country immediately after signing the peace agreement in 2015 after the current minister of Information and Broadcasting, Michael Makuei Lueth, threatened his return to Juba.
Upon hearing of Pagan’s advocacy group in the United States yesterday, Makuei called on the three members of FDs in Juba to denounce Pagan and switch allegiance to president Salva Kiir warning that they must declare their position and no “seek and hide” this time.
In the VOA studio were Amb. Garang Diing Akuong, South Sudan ambassador to Washington, Hon. Reath Muoch Tang, the SPLM/SPLA Representative to the United States and Brain Adeba, the Associate Director of Policy at Enough Project.

Mr. Pagan Amum,
You are now talking. It took you long time to denounce this government but take up guns and fight otherwise calling to gives our country to international community is a bias and does not make sense. Join hand with your colleagues in fighting this rotten regime
Peace is not dead since all six new ministers are from Nuer. Who is going to clean the streets in Upper Nile since all of them are lingering at Top positions.
Pagan You join your brother in Upper Nile before yo
u come to the media
Pagan Amum,
You know very well that, you are one of those who stole South Sudan public fund. And now, you are for UN Trusteeship. Well, you recommendation is only going to be good if you want to turn South Sudan into state of terrorism. Well, that idea is not going well with South Sudanese majority.
Nevertheless dictatorship can stay long in power. it is matter of time freedom fighter will capture Juba very soon
Nevertheless dictatorship can stay long in power. it is matter of time freedom fighter will capture Juba very soon, Mr pagan Amum u are correct peace is already dead
Mr. Khor Mail from Ethiopia.
Please be aware that, the capture of Juba is not east as you might think. 9000 militias of Nuers left Juba in 2013 and they captured Bor town but they were chased away. Please try it and you will smell it from Ethiopia.
Why Stupid, People Do Not Want Hear, That There Is No Goverment And Peace Is Dead In South Sudan? People Who Believe There Is Goverment In South Sudan Are Illterate People.
Alex, do you want people to say, there are only Militias in South Sudan?
Shilluk is not going to be same, look now 7 Ministers are from Nuer. Are you not worry Shilluk is losing.
Can we all marry the blames and the problem of this young nation as ours and start to advocate for peace rather than tribal lines.
