April 5th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – The former deputy spokesman of the National Salvation Front (NAS) led by Gen. Thomas Cirilo Swaka has declared his decision to join the Federal Democratic Party (FDP) led by Gabriel Changson Chang.

Wazir Michael Liah last month resigned from his position as the deputy spokesman for Gen. Thomas Cirilo’s group accusing him and others within the group of pursuing a tribal agenda.

He told the Nyamilepedia last week that he plans to ‘stay’ in politics because getting away from it doesn’t make a solution for the ongoing conflict in the country.

“Therefore, we who trust in this political declaration have decided to change with the Federal Democratic Party (FDP) in order to serve our people who are eager for freedom and stability,” Michael said in a declaration statement he extended to the Nyamilepedia this morning.
