October 15,2021—The former Managing Director of Nilepet, Engineer Bol Ring Muorwel, has welcomed his replacement with a smile on his face saying he has to celebrate his removal just like he celebrated his appointment.
Eng. Bol has faced many criticisms ranging from corruption allegations to poor leadership within the last 13 months he has been in office; however, he believes that his firing is as normal as his appointment and therefore, he has to appreciates the president for the trust given to him instead of complaining for serving only 1 year.
This comes less than 24 hours after he was fired through a republican decree by President Salva Kiir from leading the Nilepet as its Managing Director.
Instead Eng. Bol Ring thanked president Salva Kiir for the opportunity which he believes is one of the rarest opportunities in the country.
” Your Excellency, I would like to thank you for the trust you bestowed upon me for the last 13 months. It’s one of the rare opportunities that can’t be found by anyone”, Eng. Ring stated in a statement.
Eng. Ring believes that the rare opportunity that he had put him in a very influential and powerful position to oversee major projects, and that could never have been possible without the trust bestowed upon him by the president.
“.. The trust you bestowed upon me made it possible to implement the major projects like Safiant, Nilepet Group, (SNP) Refinery, Nilepet Headquarters in Juba, Nile Drilling and services Co. Ltd on provision of two service Rigs, Nilepet Headquarters in Wau, renovation of Roads, manufacturing of NILEPET lubricant brand, job opportunities, etc”, As you know, your Excellency, the heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) is now being exported to the Republic of Sudan, without your trust on me, I wouldn’t have achieved anything “, Eng. Ring added.
The former Director welcomes his removal just like he welcomed his appointment, saying change is normal and should be accepted by all because without change he could not have been the Managing Director of Nilepet in the first place.
” I welcome my relieve the same way I welcomed my appointment as the Managing Director of the NIlEPET. Change is normal and should be accepted, without change I wouldn’t have become the Managing Director of Nilepet “, Eng. Ring further said.
