Sept 10, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —— Contrary, the former Chief of Staff, Gen. Paul Malong Awan, who is currently serving house arrest in Juba, has been denied an exit permit to travel to Kenya to identify his daughter who died in a dormitory fire at Moi Girl High School alongside 8 other girls.

The parents of the girls, which include Paul Malong, were invited by the Kenyan government to visit Chiromo Murtuary to conduct DNA analysis in order to identify the girls who were burned beyond recognition, however, President Kiir could not hand over his former Chief of Staff to Kenyan government to carry out DNA testing and mourn his daughter with his family.

During his latest interview with SBS Dinka Radio, Malong did not mention whether the mother of his deceased daughter could attend the DNA testing to identify the girl but Malong expressed his dire need to travel to Kenya and then to Aweil to mourn his daughter.

According to President Kiir, his decision to release Paul Malong from house arrest was refused by his first and second Vice Presidents, Gen. Taban buy propecia generic finasteride Deng Gai and Hon. Wani Igga.

Whether the two vice Presidents are just scapegoats is yet to be seen but Malong felt out with President Salva Kiir and Hon. Kuol Manyang the current Minister of Defense.

Although Malong and Lol lost their loved ones within the same time period, Malong is yet to recover and arrange funeral rituals for his daughter like Hon. Lol Gatkuoth.

According to critics, South Sudan politic knows no death. While the yesterday’s rebel- turned-loyalist, is now mourning the death of loved ones with the presidency, the yesterday’s  die-hard loyalists-turned-suspects are now grinding their teeth in anger and bitterness as the presidency turns its back on them.

Struggling with deteriorating health under house arrest in Juba, Malong’s world seems to be slowly closing in. In addition to bad news of loosing a daughter, Malong received news of sanctions over the Juba massacres and attempts to kill Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the former Vice President and the leader of SPLM/SPLA-IO.

According to insiders, while serving house arrest in Juba, Malong’s senior loyalists in the army, national security and in foreign embassies are being relieved from their duties or being redeployed to new front-lines to neutralize their powers before Malong gets released.
