The fighting broke out on Tuesday evening after a football match turned violence, Buay reports. “The situation of South Sudanese refugees in the Kakuma refugee camp is tense, and increasingly getting worse.”

Five people have been killed and around 10 people are in critical condition at IRC General Hospital including an eight-year-old boy who was forcibly extracted from a house, severely beaten and left in a coma by the Nubian.
