December 22nd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Fire broke out on Saturday at Unity oilfields in South Sudan’s Rubkona County, sources with knowledge has told the Nyamilepedia.
A GPOC employee said on condition of anonymity that the cost of fire at a oil well remains unknown and that efforts to contain it were under way.
“We don’t know what was the cause of fire but efforts are being exerted to contain it anyway,” the employee said.
Authorities in Northern Liech state could not be reached for details.
