Nov 22, 2021 — The Ethiopian Prime Minister, Dr, Abiy Ahmed, a former Nobel Peace Prize winner and once a custodian of peace in the region, has called it enough as civil war continues to advance on his strongholds towards the capital, Addis Ababa.
According to a lengthy statement released by the Prime Minister this morning, November 22, 2021, the Prime Minister can no longer sit back to watch the war advancing on the capital, Addis Ababa, announcing that he must go to the frontline to lead his forces.
In a strongly worded statement, the Prime Minister declares that he will match to the battle field as soon as tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 to lead his troops against the rebels and their allies.
“This is the time when we need to lead a country with sacrifice. From now on, I will move to the battle field to lead the defense force in front of tomorrow. Those of you who want to be one of the Ethiopian children whom history admires, stand up today for the sake of your country. Let’s meet at the front.” Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed declared today according to Ethiopia’s state broadcaster.
Prime Minister Abiy vowed that the Ethiopians must defeat their enemy now before the enemy destroys all that Ethiopia and Africa has achieved for centuries.
Dr. Abiy declares that this will be the last war to either save or lose Ethiopia and calls on all the patriotic citizens to stand up and defense their beloved.
“We will get through this. Ethiopia will definitely win. Now we are at the moment where we are going to fight the last fight to save Ethiopia. Our enemies have united us inside and outside. On the one hand, our historical enemies have set a bar of destruction to avoid seeing an Ethiopia that grows by her own will and by her own way” Dr. Abiy said.
By going to the frontline, Abiy calls on all patriotic citizens, who are ready to sacrifice their lives saying that those who will perish shall be remembered as heroes and those who will survive the war, will continue the legacies of those who meet their fates.
“Those of you who want to be one of the Ethiopian children whom history admires, stand up today for the sake of your country; let’s meet at the front.” Abiy emphasized.
The Ethiopia Prime, who mediated South Sudan conflict, has turned down numerous offers for a political solution; however, the conflict has cost many lives and displaced millions of citizens to the neighboring countries.
