Embassy of Canada in Juba Closed Until Further Notice, Citizens Warned To Leave or Avoid South Sudan

July 31, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— A strict advisory “AVOID ALL TRAVEL”, issued on 29th and still being circulated, warns all Canadians at home and abroad to avoid entering South Sudan at all means.

The Advisory announced that Canadian Embassy in South Sudan is now closed until further notice and all Canadian passport holders must register with Registration of Canadian Abroad service and carefully leave that country due to deteriorating security situation.

Global Affairs Canada advises against all travel to the Republic of South Sudan, including the border areas and the city of Juba, as the security situation has deteriorated significantly. See Security for more information.

If you choose to remain in the country despite this advisory, restrict your movements and keep abreast of the latest developments. Register with the Registration of Canadians Abroad service and carefully follow messages issued through this service. Due to security reasons, the Embassy of Canada in Juba is closed until further notice and Global Affairs Canada has authorized the departure of Canadian staff from South Sudan. Consular assistance is still available through the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi, Kenya or the Emergency Watch and Response Centrein Ottawa.

Shame on u Mr john lew. Why are we always chasing u in Juba and all over the country while u are the planer of the coups ? Even if your supporters interfere like in J1, we still disloged your tribal army, so better to apology to the president salva kiir together with taban Deng and leaved yr stupid Dr machar
