August 27, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— As vividly told in their testimonies, like the Nuer of South Sudan, the Americans who were raped and abused by a government militia recruited, funded and trained by President Salva Kiir, were targeted because of their nationality – being American.

Kerry, on behave of Obama’s administration and on his own behave as a diplomat, was expected to deliver a strong condemnation representing a position of the “superpower” and a leading donor, whose taxpayers have heavily funded a failed leadership of a war-torn country without their consent; however, the Secretary of State came with a difference package to sell to Kiir’s administration and that is the deployment of a regional force to bolster the position of the UN Peacekeepers in South Sudan.

The mixed peacekeepers have failed in many occasions in South Sudan, not just to prevent rapes, lootings and targeting of American citizens seeking refuge in private hotels but their core mandate which is to protect the internally displaced persons(IDPs) in their custody, a major downfall that New York is still investigating.

Arriving at a time when the victims’ testimonies were going viral on social media, Kerry was expected to assure the American victims that their government cares by condemning, not condoning, the process that triggered all the violations in South Sudanese capital in July but unexpectedly Kerry, himself, became a victim of South Sudanese politics, blindly endorsing the main cause of July 8th, 2016.

Observers and many South Sudanese, who followed the events, believe the root cause of lawlessness that resulted in death of over 1000 people, rapes and looting that began on July 8th, was the price of imposing Gen. Taban Deng Gai against the will of majority and in violation of the Peace Agreement signed in August 2015.

Many politicians have tempted to explain that Taban’s appointment is illegal and in violation of the peace agreement, an argument the US diplomat should have weighed more carefully.

Whether illegal or legal, it was unexpected that Kerry could not condemn targeting of American citizens by South Sudan army but instead dive to justify the violations of  the Peace Agreement and Machar’s replacement that was militarily imposed just like the gang-raping of Americans citizens and many other South Sudanese women.

While some argue that the soft tone of Mr. Kerry was intended not to aggravate Salva Kiir regime or to put more Americans at risk, others believe that the damage is already done and condoning it could put more Americans at risk.

Others believe that the US Secretary of State was more interested in seeing 4000 more-African boots on the ground to protect civilians and foreign citizens since the non-African peacekeepers have failed several times in Juba, Bor, Akobo, Bentiu and Malakal where civilians have been targeted and killed in large number.

In his speech to Legislative assembly this week, President Salva Kiir could not deny the testimonies of Terain Hotel but instead accused foreigners of having affairs with the IDPs in UNMISS, saying:

“People are accusing us of raping those women in the UNMISS Camps, what about the Foreigners, who are having sex with them ? I believe there are in those Camps foreign children ” President Salva Kiir said.

Although there have been many voices calling for investigation and legal actions against the perpetrators, sometimes Salva Kiir himself, no proper justice and accountability have been heard of in South Sudan for the past three years of war.

President Salva Kiir on his part wants to see UN peacekeepers investigated and held accountable before his men and himself are held accountable.

I don’t know, I think people should take issues with UNIMISS’s position and bueracratic cover ups in regards to the Hotel Incident. In this I think considerable amount of co-operation with the US officials on the ground in Juba as away forward is require and not a clearly sought out condemnation infused with accusations. The US troops and official in Juba and on the ground are not quite the authority but operate within limited bounds.

Funny that Kiir and his mob ignore anything the western wirld says about the genocidical manner of the Juba mob.
At the same time the jump on anythibg that Kerry said rwisting it as if it was approval of the Juba madness.
Laughable. Lueth and Taban the public clowns cheered on by Weston wahjoi and the bubble brain Gordon Buay in Washington.
And Kiir loves it. Eceryone else laughibg about their obvious poor theatre petfomances.

Is it true that Taban charted a plane for hum and colleagues to flee South Sudan with 100 million dollars (bribe mobey)
