June 21st 2018 (Nyamilepedia) Civil Society Organizations Network, CiSON, has on Wednesday held monthly coordination to share experiences and collaboratively strategizes on how to better coordinate their activities more
effectively, the deputy chairperson said on Wednesday.
Hakim Chipuou-Nyuc , CiSON deputy chairperson, said that forum aims at strengthening the coordination of activities among the CSOs so that they are able to do their work in a collaborative manner.
He said the forum gives chance for CSOs to explain what activities each CSO does and where such activities are being implemented to avoid duplications of the activities.
Mr. Chipuou-Nyuc also revealed that community members have reported fear over cattle raiding and reports of killings have resumed in the state.
Lam Makuac Lam, CiSON Secretary General added that too much night shooting has been realized within this few weeks.
He said there are indications that the situation will get back to worse due to alarm of night shooting and common cases of cattle
raiding reported.
Mr. Secretary encourages communities and authorities to rescue the situation by maintaining law and order in the state.
The forum brought together forty seven members of civil society organizations across the country, UN agencies and community members in Western Lakes
