BREAKING: Sudanese army informs al-Bashir about his ouster, detains ex-vice president Taha

April 10th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) has reportedly informed Sudanese president, Omar Al-Bashir, that he is no longer the leader of the country,  state media has reported.

Reports also alleged that former Sudanese Vice President,  Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, former Defense Minister, Abdel Rahim Mohamed Hussein and the acting head of National Congress Party (NCP), Ahmed Haruon, all have been detained by the army.

The Sudanese TV announced moments ago that the army has taken control of all broadcasting channels and that it is expected to make an announcement in the next few moments.

The Sudanese state media also reported that the Khartoum airport has been closed and all planes are not allowed to leave until an expected army announcement.
