Feb 14, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —— Samuel Philip, a civilian and son of a well known Priest, late Canon Philip Nyadringwa, was shot dead by government soldiers in a broad daylight in Lui on the weekend.
Speaking to his elder brother, Wycliff Phillp, who could not hold his tears, he said his younger brother, Samuel, was barbarically killed on Saturday by government soldiers in Lui town.
“With deep sorrow I would like to inform you that my young brother Samuel Phillip, a civilian was shot dead yesterday Saturday 11.02.2017 in Lui town.” Wycliff said.
According to Wycliff, Samuel was shot dead by soldiers whom knew him well and have lived with for at least three years.
“I do not know what exactly is the motive behind his killing by these merciless soldiers he stayed with them for more then three years in Lui.” Wycliff continued.
Eyewitness explained that as soon as he felt down, the soldiers who are Dinka by tribe rushed to the scene to cut him into pieces and removed all his intestines.
“Samuel Phillip, son of late Canon Phillip Nyadringwa, was shot dead, cut into pieces and his intenstines removed by government army in Lui town  yesterday” He said.
Although the purpose of killing him was not explain, cutting his dead body into pieces and removing of his intestines hurt his family and those who witnessed the scene.
“May the almighty God rest His Soul in Peace. God gives God takes. My His name be glorified.” Prayed his elder Brother Wycliff.
Samuel was known by many in Lui town as a peaceful civilian and a trader who had no political affiliation.
As hatred deepens in the hearts of South Sudanese many of such killings are being witnessed in Equatoria, Upper Nile and Western Bhar el Ghazal.
Many civilians have been killed by soldiers and sometimes burned in houses or cut into pieces before the soldiers walk away.
Similar barbaric killing was witnessed recently on January 25th in Wau, Western Bhar el Ghazal, where Lt. Col. Al Fadil Meil Issa Limbo, who worked for the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) team on behalf of Taban Deng Gai’s break away SPLM/A(IO) faction was brutally kidnapped and assassinated.
Al Fadil’s body was found in one of government controlled areas in Wau with his throat slit, a day after he was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified persons.
Fadil’s death was neither condemned or investigated by both the government or CTSAMM which the late officer worked for.
In related developments, the SPLA/M IO Deputy Chief of Staff for Training, Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Political and Moral Orientation and Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration and Finance, Lt. General Wesley Welebe Samson has condemned the brutally killing of civilians in the country.
Welebe believes that Salva Kiir government is doing everything possible to incite genocides so that President Kiir and his clique can continue to rule the young country in chaos.
