August 6th, 2918(Nyamilepedia) —— Latest reports from South Sudan’s front lines, under the leadership of former Deputy Chief of Staff turned rebel, Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo confirmed that an attempted coup has been foiled and leaders of the coup are captured.

According to reports extended to Nyamilepedia, loyal forces of General Thomas Cirillo have captured Maj. Gen. Julius Tabuley, the leader of the coup, together with his senior generals and advisers.

“those of Maj. Gen Julious Tabuley, Dr. Gasim Barnaba Kisanga, Gen Khalid Butrous and Maj.Gen Ali Kur , have been captured after attempting to oust the chairman, Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo” reads part of the report.

According to a different report extended to Nyamilepedia by Maj.Gen. Tabuley two days ago, his leadership claimed power from Cirillo for refusing to sign the Khartoum Agreement on govance and security arrangement.

The self imposed group claimed that Cirillo did not consult them before he made his decision and refused to sign  the agreement without their consent – a decision they believe was not in the best interest of the people they represent.

Gen. Cirillo, however, responded by signing the agreement he once refused to sign and also dismissed Gen. Tabuley and his group from NAS, which include senior generals that defected from the SPLM/A(IO) and COBRA
