December 16th, 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – Former Press Secretary for the SPLM-IO leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny has arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, several sources have told the Nyamilepedia from Khartoum.

James Gatdet Dak was arrested in November 2016 by Kenyan security operatives after reportedly reaching a deal with their South Sudanese counterparts to arrest and deport him to Juba.

Gatdet was latterly deported to Juba where he was put under National Security detention while on trial for charges which includes but not limited to treason and inciting the public against the government.

Gatdet was finally sentenced to death by hanging and was sentenced to 25 years in jail as well but was released by Presidential amnesty in line with the permanent ceasefire agreement which also provided for the release of political detainees.

“James Gatdet has finally arrived in Khartoum. We already met him,” a source said in Khartoum.
