Jan 28, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — Angong Dhol Acuil was this morning sworn in as a Grade Three Ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
In a statement, the presidential press said that the oath taking ceremony was administered by Chief Justice Chan Reech Madut.
“H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit in his Office this Thursday morning, has sworn in Angong Dhol Acuil as a Grade Three Ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,” read the statement.
The presidential press further said that the ceremony was attended by the ministers for Presidential Affairs and General Education.
“In attendance were, the Minister of Presidential Affairs Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial, Minister of General Education Hon. Awut Deng Acuil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Amb. Mayen Dut,” the statement continued.
The ambassador was appointed in February last year but her swearing in was delayed as she was out of the country.
“Amb. Angong Dhol Acuil was appointed by H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit as a Grade Three Ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with effect from 26th February 2020 while serving her duties in South Sudan embassy in Washington Dc, which delayed her oath taking ceremony because she was not present in the Country,” the statement read.
