July 15th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Four (4) people have been killed and twelve (12) others wounded after gunmen ambushed a commercial car travelling Between Nhialdiu and Northern Liech state capital, Bentiu, on Sunday, locals said Monday.
The car, one resident told Nyamilepedia, was ambushed around 4:00 PM local time on Sunday few minutes after leaving Nhialdiu for Bentiu. The source said all aboard the commercial pickup vehicle were civilians.
“There was car ambushed yesterday between Nhialdiu and Bentiu town. Four people [have been] confirmed dead and 12 people were injured,” the source told Nyamilepedia from Bentiu on Monday afternoon in an exclusive statement.
“The car was leaving Nhialdiu to Bentiu town at 04:00PM [and the ambush occurred] just at Lok river bank. It was a pick-up vehicle for commercial transportation and all on board were civilians,” the source added.
