Oct 26, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- A 39-year-old Comprehensive Nurse with a private Grace Medical Centre has been arrested by the Police for allegedly raping an out-patient on the pretext of getting her free medication on Friday.

According to Peter Kongdi, a police officer, the accused lured the victim into his working place in Gudele residential area to give her medicines.
“It is alleged that the accused lured the victim to his working place in Gudele residential area,” Peter Kongdi Police officer said.
Kongdi said that the accused has been identified as Kizito Muza, a 39 year old, a resident of Dar Es Salaam residential area in Munuki.
He was arrested on Friday evening hours after the victim reported the complaint to her parent.
A case of rape has been registered at Gudele Police station.
According to the complainant, who is a Gudele residential area resident, the accused had been treating the complainant for seven-days [one week] for malaria & typhoid prior to the incident.
“She was suffering from severe headache for three days in which she visited nearby private medical centre for further medical consultations,” Police said.
“Kizito had promised me to get free medication of seven days with the help of a friend who was working with him in the same clinic. Nurse called me on Friday evening hours around 7:15pm to meet him in the clinic. From there he took me to his colleague’s room where his friend is renting then he forced himself upon me,” said the victim in her complaint.
The woman added that she slapped Kizito and stepped out of the room, after which he followed her and pulled her into bed where he raped her in.
Kizito has been charged of rape under section 247 of the South Sudan Penal code act 2008 which states that a rape could lead up to fourteen years in jail and fines.
The police confirm that the suspect is under custody for further investigation.
“The suspect is under police custody for further investigations while the victim taken to Juba teaching hospital for medical examinations,” Police said.
