3 criminals arrested for beating a man to death in Twic County of Warap State.

October 20, 2021—At least three men have been arrested for allegedly beating a man to death in Twic county of Warrap State, one of the most volatile states in the country.

According to reliable information extended to Nyamilepedia , Mr. Deng Tong Goch who identified himself as Twice County Commissioner, said the man who died at a health facility on Saturday was beaten and hurt on the head on Friday at Akak Boma in Panyok Payam during a little fight among youth in the area.

According to Commissioner Tong, three men suspected to have been engaged in the fight were all apprehended and are now under detention at the Akak police station.

“They said yesterday (Friday) that there was a fight at Akak Boma, Panyok Payam where youth fought and eventually in the morning one who had serious injuries on the head died at Akak health center. This is what happened. The Payam Administrator managed to control the situation and the suspects were jailed at Akak police station,” Commisioner Tong quoted by Radio Tamazuj to have said on Saturday.

Mr. Deng Atem Ngardit, who is an eye witness, said that the fight occurred after the victims and two of his closest friends attacked a shopkeeper at Akak market for refusing to sell alcohol to them on loan.

Atem revealed that the shopkeeper who fought back in self-defense injured the victim who died of excessive bleeding.

Twic County of Warrap State is where president Kiir hails from but despite, insecurity has remained very rampant, not only in Twic county but also in other parts of Warrap State.
