April 30th, 2018(Nyamilepedia) — Ma’di communities around the globe are saddened by demise of one of their sons, Tiri Richard commonly known as Amba Mata, who was shot dead in a cold blood by National Security apparatus aka the “Unknown Gunmen” in Juba on the 29th of April, at about 3:30 am. The deceased was returning home after celebrating his daughter’s birthday with friends at Club Signature when he was ambushed by NS goons at ADRA roundabout near Gudele.

According to eyewitnesses, the assailants waited for him at the roundabout and sprayed dozens of bullets on his car, and that one bullet hit him on the head, killing him instantly.

At the time of writing this report, his bullet ridden car was still at the scene of the accident (Adventist round about). The assassins then vanished from the scene without any traces, and left their victim lying in the pool of blood; a brilliant young intellectual who has been a fountain of smiles to his work colleagues and community at large!

Police investigation is still ongoing but chances of finding the real assailant are slim considering the fact that, they (the police and the unknown gunmen) are birds of the same feather (Dinka Government), working toward achieving nothing but a tribal agenda/dinka supremacy.

The deceased was apparently targeted on the basis of ethnicity as the regime hates young intellectuals from non-dinka ethnic groups. The victim’s body was taken to Juba military mortuary at the time of this reporting.

Since South Sudan became independent, the Juba government has been eyeing on Ma’diland. They wanted to grab Ma’diland from the natives and turn it into their own. As there’s been no easy way to realize this, they have opted to brutalizing and murdering members of the ethnic Ma’di. The fact that they have murdered Tiri in Juba shows how far they (the regimes’ goons) can go after their innocent victims.

Tiri was once a head prefect at Alere Secondary School in Adjumani district, Northern Uganda. He was a final year student at Nkumba University, studying Business Administration while working as finance manager at their organisation. He left behind two orphans, a daughter and a son.

We at the media fraternity condemn this barbaric pastoralist behavior in strongest terms possible and ask the human right bodies to pursue justice for the victim and ethnic Ma’dis who are being targeted just for being who they are.
