Nov 5, 2016(Nyamilepedia) ——- The reason I would like to vote for you is because during the debate your words are workable and are in action. You are very committed in decision making, you want to make America great again, you want to fight terrorism, you want to replace the dictatorship (Leaders who killed, terrorist their own people, destroy properties, displace people to refugees camps in Africa, Asia and all over the world), and replace them with genuine democratic system.

In this regard, I would like to give you a brief background on Sudan’s Civil War.

First- Sudan’s Civil War

Sudan is the largest country in Africa by area and is home to a wide variety of ethnic groups. The Muslim Arabs in the northern part of the country have traditionally held control over the black people that reside in South part of the country. With many different languages being spoken, southerners are principally Christians and traditionally religious. Sudan is a divided country.

From 1955 to 1972, the Sudan government fought the Any Anya rebel army in the first Sudan civil war, and the peace agreement accord was signed in 1972 in Addis Ababa, followed by the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA/M) in the second Sudan civil war in 1983. The conflict continued for more than 21 years resulting in the internal displacement of 4.5 million Sudanese, some went to the neighboring countries in Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, and Egypt. Over 45 thousand refugees moved to other countries including the United States of America in which I now live. About 2.5 million people have died as a result of the war.

South Sudan Efforts for Independence:

Efforts for a long term peace have historically not worked. The United States government along with George W Bush’s administration passed the Sudan Peace Agreement Act (SPAA) in an effort to promote peace in Sudan. The peace accord was signed in January 9, 2005 in Machakos, Kenya and was witnessed by international community leaders, even General Colin Powell, the former secretary of the United States of America. In addition, the churches in Diaspora have called upon their brothers and sisters around the world to speak boldly and loudly for peace in Sudan, calling even stronger pressure to ensure that all agreements are fully implemented.

The Independence of South Sudan: (July 9, 2011)

On January 9, 2011 a referendum was held to determine whether South Sudan should declare independence from Sudan. About 98.83% of population voted for independence (the result for that was released on January 30, 2011). Those living in north Sudan and expatriates living overseas also voted. This led to formal independence on July 9, 2011. We appreciated the President Omer El-Bashir of Sudan for he was the first President to recognized and support the independence of South Sudan from Sudan in July 9, 2011.

The Republic of South Sudan has been negatively affected by two evil wars since the independence.

Second- The worst evil civil war in South Sudan: (December 15, 2013- August 17, 2015)

In three years of independence the new nation of South Sudan went back to war. Fighting that erupted in December 15, 2013 in South Sudan and is believed to have started in the presidential guards, which then spread to other army units and civilians. The president Kier is from Denka and The former vice president Dr. Machar is from Nuer. With this being said, the war became tribal followed by other tribes in Equatorial, Bhar- Elgazal Regions fighting against the government of South Sudan.

The United Nations and African envoy are trying to start up a peace process that will halt the faction fighting which has already killed thousands of people. Many people were massacred in Juba the capital of South Sudan, only targeting Nuer civilians in December 15, 16, 17, 18, 2013. The war has resulted in the death of 20, 000 people and at least 1.5 million have fled their homes and became refugees again in neighboring countries of Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, and internally thousands of people sheltering in UN bases within South Sudan. Again, we thank and appreciate the president Omer El- Bashir of Sudan for he was the first President to receive the South Sudanese who fled the country to Sudan as brothers and sisters and not as refugees and this is the kind of human rights we need, we recognized him as the father of the whole nation of South Sudan and Sudan. God help South Sudan from personal ambition and greed that has replaced peace and brotherhood. Eventually the compromised peace agreement accord has been signed in August 17, 2015 by the warring parties of South Sudan but it couldn’t work.

The Evil Civil war in South Sudan: (July 8, 2016)

The peace implementation couldn’t work out, but intense fighting broke out in the capital South Sudan, Juba on Friday July 8, 2016, prompting Dr. Riek Machar the First Vice President to flee the country to Congo by foot, traveling for 37 days, and rescued by the UN in the border of Congo. (How horrible it will be for you, you destroyer, although you haven’t been destroyed. How horrible it will be for you, you traitor, although you haven’t been betrayed. When you’ve finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you’ve finished being a traitor you will be betrayed Isaiah 33:1). Said the Lord Almighty.

My prayers and my hope is that the coming year of 2017, peace will prevail in South Sudan. We want to see the South Sudan a place of worship and to provide it’s beloved citizens the services that they need in terms of hospital, schools, water sanitation, roads, agriculture, and many more. We want to see the children of South Sudan playing sports and competing with other countries, and the women of South Sudan enjoying their freedom in society. We want to see the churches in South Sudan praise the Lord in dignity and the Muslim brothers enjoy the same privilege in unity and love in the federal state of the Republic of South Sudan.

I would like to appeal to all my colleagues and Sudanese American to support and vote for Donald John Trump for he will help to make South Sudan great again. This is a special prayer request asking the American society and the churches in America to pick up the December 15, 2016 as a prayer day for peace in South Sudan and Sudan. God bless South Sudan, Sudan and long live the United States of America, long live Donald John Trump the coming President of the United States of America. Amen.
