Jan 07, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —– The good one is all about harmony, understanding, togetherness, reconciliation, and peace etc. The bad one is all about war, fighting, genocide, retaliation, hatred, jealousy, tribalism and its dimensions. Overall politics in South Sudan is totally negative and has nothing to give and present to the people, instead takes the lives of people and deprives them of their natural gift. The Killing has never stopped since 2005 so far, what does this mean to the government? Nothing. It doesn’t care and concern at all, who are the killers, looters, robbers, kidnappers and corrupt leaders? Unknown, unknown and unknown. Even the genocide engineers and architects are unknown, so what can you say in such situation where everything is unknown.

How can you bring change, develop and peace to the country if the essential things are unknown to you? They could be possible to the normal people who have nothing to do with the politics, but you, the leaders and politicians impossible even to image. Actually, you know what is happening, but you are not interested to point your fingers and raise your voice for fear of daily beard and a cup of liquor to satisfy your hunger and thirst.

Believe it or not:

History can repeat itself, during the struggled many incidents similar to 2013 genocide had been conducted against the Dinka, Nuer, and Equations for different reasons, planned and unplanned. Supposed the Nuer were at the top leadership of the country, and they decided to carry out genocide against the Dinka people or the Equatoria people. What would the Dinka peoples and the Equatoria peoples feel? How would the Dinka peoples and the Equatoria peoples feel? What would the Dinka peoples and Equatoria peoples have done?

How would the Dinka peoples and the Equatoria peoples have felt? Genocide is an international crime against the international laws if it is done by any of the groups I mentioned above, and those who triggered the genocides must face the law as well as retaliations and vengeance. If it is done by the government, it must face the law either because the government is not free to do whatever it wants, but it has to consider its people in the first place. Killing your peoples brutally is the waste thing a legal government can do and by doing so it’s illegalized itself by hanging a rub on its neck by itself at all level.

Critical Equation.

Supposed the genocide and massacred that had happened to the Nuer people in 2013 occurred exactly to your people, the Dinka or the Equatorians. What would you do? How would you feel? What would you have said? How would you have felt? We will not forget it. Do you know why? Because it was done according to the scheduled plan, but their plan had brought human disasters to them such as hatred, despise, scorn, devalue, retaliation, and envy. Who is to be blamed for that senseless thought and hopeless planning? Their elders or leaders, their politicians or intellectuals or their entire community? And vice versa. Either they accept their deeds as part of their wicked agenda or they readjust and reshape their mental direction, so as to avoid the repetition of the same incidents again contrary. Human beings are human beings if they think of doing something awkward, they can do it whatsoever.

The Advantage of Unity and Peace in South Sudan

Southern Sudanese need rest and tranquility everywhere in the country so as to enable them to settle down, plan well for their lives, do their businesses without barriers and interact with one another socially and culturally. Advantages of Unity and Peace are as follows:

From the educational point of view, the educationist and educational expertise will plan well for the education of our children through improving curriculums, teachers training and building new schools and others. Knowing that education if the key to success… “No one knows how to read and write except through schools and teachers.” The good government almost always focuses on the education and knows its importance very well. As some of our singers sang, without a teacher, there is no a doctor, a judge, and a president. From the health point of view, similarly when we become sick, we need to see doctors and we always see them in the hospitals. More modern hospitals are needed in South Sudan, not just in the Capital City, but in the States, Counties, Payams and Bomas to render health-care to our citizen where they may be to ease their lives and to avoid catastrophes.

From the Agriculture point of view, when Sudan was still one there were a lot of slogans being recited by the government, one of those slogans was ” we eat from what we cultivated and we dress from what we made”… Through agriculture, we can produce our own food, our own dress and our own what we want to. But depending totally on food that has been brought from outside is a crime against the sovereignty of the country because emergencies may occur, then what would be the fate of your people regarding food and others. So, producing food locally is of great advantage, incentive, and a good reputation for the nation and vice versa.

From the transportation point of view, this is one of the main advantages and live projects, which ought to be one of the properties of the country that helps the movements of the people and goods from and to South Sudan must be connected by all the means of transportations such as land, river, and air as a sign of development and globalization.

The Disadvantage of Unity and Peace in South Sudan:

We have already tackled in the previous writing on the issue of the advantage of Unity and Peace, now I’m tackling the vice one, which is the disadvantage. The disadvantage means the negative side, the weak side and bad side of anything, but here I’m dealing with Unity and Peace.

In South Sudan since the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) was signed between the government and the Sudan People Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/SPLA), the war had stopped, and the issues of power and wealth had been resolved between the two parties. From that era, South Sudan had gained a bit of power, wealth, and self-government that had allowed her to rule and govern herself. Subsequently, here the problems emerged to the surface i.e. the old method of ruling and governing had re-introduced, re-proclaimed and re-propagated. The political leaders have failed to disseminate the true vision and objectives of the liberation struggle, instead, they resorted to self-interest and self-gain as a shortcut toward the accumulation of money and wealth, so as to become rich on the expand of the people whom they thought they had fought for their sake.

Besides, the system they had introduced totally frustrated the people who had been longing and waiting for the saviors and liberators to bring genuine change and transformation into their lives, unfortunately, they brought more suffering to their fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, nephews, nieces and themselves even. They have started another war, which is hopeless and useless because this second war has been causing a lot of unbelievable and unexpected miseries and depression in the Southern Sudanese families, communities, and the country at large. Hence, this so-called Newborn Nation has never been luckier at all. The saying goes: “Born in war, grew up in war and for sure will die in war as well.” This is our fate as Southern Sudanese. And in war, numerous people die, families are destroyed, Churches are demolished, government institutions are devastated, human resources are morally eradicated, natural resources are robbed and everything is upside down. The disagreement of our political leaders is one of the issues that need to be looked into urgently if we really want Unity and Peace in the country.

The disagreement is good in social and economic thinking, cultural and political thinking because it would give us change to rethink and readjust our approaches, thoughts, and planning so as to interact positively in the deliberations of political issues. The waste of all is the tribal and political leadership in South Sudan, where politics and leadership are focusing on the tribal concept and understanding and when politics is directed that way, the Angels and Saints return to heaven and the devil and Satan remain on the earth and continue to build their castles.
