Nov 22, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —– Latest reports from South Sudan’s Lich State confirms that the recently appointed Military Governor of the SPLM/A in Opposition, Brigadier General Tor Tungwar Kueiguong, has relieved Hon Dak Hoth Dong, the State Secretary for Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Resources.

Speaking from a mobile office at the front line in Lich, formerly Unity State, Brig. Gen. Tor Tungwar confirmed the order and said it came into effect as of yesterday, November 20th, 2017.

According to Tungwar, this would be his first decree and the reasons for sacking Hon. Dak are purely administrative.

Dak has served this position under the former administration, however, the rebel minister has failed to attend meetings so far.

Hon. Dak is believed to be staying in Khartoum, Sudan, despite that the administration is moved to the front line in South Sudan.

Gen. Tungwar was appointed by Dr. Riek Machar on July 27th and began work immediately.

On August 1st, the military governor appointed Maj. Gen. Joseph Nhial Ruach as his deputy governor.

The new governor appreciate the citizens of Unity State for a warm welcome in the state and all moral support accorded to his leadership.
