July 30th, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —-We, Forhowlong- (Activists GROUP), do hereby expressing our dismay, concerning the persisting mass displacement of civil population due to renewed fighting between government’s loyalist groups and opposition forces across the three greater regions. This provocative attacks and delusional pursuit of gaining more territories will yet perpetrate another humanitarian crisis to the already existing. There is an urgent need to find a promising solution that will yield sustainable peace and stability in the republic of South Sudan, rather than flexing muscle on tribal lines.

The continuous displacement of civil population along Ethiopia- South Sudan boarder in the surrounding areas of Maiwut and Bie state, is an evident to irresponsible undertaking of government and opposition groups with response to the suffering of the innocent women and children who are the most affected victims by the current political turmoil⎯This manmade humanitarian catastrophe,  killing and compelling the entire civil population to seek refuge in neighboring countries. We urge all the youth, community leaders and church elders to protest against this Cruel and uncivilized approach of our politician in dealing with national issues. And as far as we are all now, we shouldn’t merely contemplate on external help which is intensified with individual’s interest.

We therefore call upon the parties to the conflict to immediately cease hostility and purge way to find peaceful means on ending the conflict in the world’s youngest nation. We also call upon Friends of South Sudan (lobby groups), Peace Partners, IGAD and Troika to quickly find a possible solution to ends this madness. South Sudanese leaders will never think to help the civilians but continue to fight each other’s on the level of personal hatred using the country’s resources to defeats their antagonists.

Regards,

Ngor Mariano Ajuet

Representative Forhowlong- (Activists GROUP)
