Red Army Foundation Congratulates Deputy Chairman of SPLM/SPLA-IO, Henry Odwar on His Appointment
Dec 04, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— The Red Army Foundation in Opposition(RAFO) congratulates the newly appointed officials for SPLM/SPLA(IO), Hon. Henry D. Odwar, Hon. Stephen Par Kuol and Gen. Tingo Peter Regbigo.
On December 1st, Dr. Riek Machar appointed Hon. Henry D. Odwar as the Deputy Chairman and Deputy Commander in Chief of SPLM/SPLA(IO), an appointment that has been warmly received by supporters of the armed opposition.
“The Red army foundation(RAFO) would like to congratulate you trustfully on your appointment by the chairman Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon to the position of deputy chairman and deputy commander -in chief, SPLM/SPLA- IO.” Said Lam Met Koryoam, the Chairman of RAFO.

RAFO extends its gratitude and support to former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar, the leader of SPLM/SPLA(IO), for appointing competent individuals to key portfolio in the movement.
“We also like to extend our sincere gratitude and support to the chairman for great choice he made for appointing comrade Henry D. Odwar to the position of the deputy chairman and deputy commander- in-chief, SPLM/SPLA- IO.” Said RAFO Chairman.

Many supporters, who have gone viral on social media for the past few days, believe that Machar’s appointments are not only competent but representative of South Sudan’s three regions.
Dr. Machar appoints Tingo Peter Regbigo, a military general and a former Governor of Wau State as the Secretary General of SPLM/SPLA(IO) and Amb. Stephen Par Kuol, a former State Minister ad former deputy ambassador, who has served various portfolios in IO, as the National Committee Chairperson for Foreign Relations.
