Nov 27, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– This official Press Release is to inform members of the Community in Australia and around the world that, Nuer Community Association in Northern Territory have conducted a historical election on Saturday 26 November 2016 and enormously elected their new Leaders. The community have successfully chosen the following Management Committee who will serve the Community for the next two years.

After the announcement of the results of election, President George Garjang” thanked all the community members for the selfless decision of electing him and the team, and for the trust bestowed on them. He stressed the calls of uniting Nuer’s people and promote culture identity and social cohesions here in Northern Territory and beyond”. President George” also sincerely expressed his commitment and the team to work hand in hand with the community and use the approaches to full fill their duties and tasks ahead at all times with sense of humor”.

The election Organising Committees wish to thank the newly elected leaders who have accepted this noble call of serving Nuer’s Community of Northern Territory. We also thank the entire community members for the turned out in big numbers and exercised their democratic right of electing their Leaders.
