Oct 27, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— A group of Kenyan politicians who are campaigning to ban South Sudan’s former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, are expected to visit South Sudan’s capital next week to lobby support from Salva Kiir’s government.
According to inside reports received by Nyamilepedia, the group of members of Kenyan’s Parliament are expected to arrive in Juba on November 1st at the invitation of president Salva Kiir to spend a night in Juba until November 2nd.
The MPs, who are expected on visit composed of:
- Hon Asman Kamama, Member of the National Assembly for Tiaty and the Chairperson of Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security
- Ndungu Gethenji, MP for Tetu Constituency of Nyeri County and Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations.
- Â Ababu Namwamba, Budalangi MP and the former Minister for Sports and Youth affairs.
- Alice Wahome, MP for Kandara Constituency and member of Administration and National Security Committee,
- Prof Hellen Sambili, Minister for Higher Education
- Â Mary Emase (Trade)
- Hassan Osman Hassan ( Delegated Legislation and Health)
- Khatib Mwashetani Abdalla (East African Integration)
- Ken Okoth (Education)
- Richard Omoima Onyonka (Defense/Foreign)
Other members of this delegation will include Stephen Mule for East African Integration, Benjamin Jomo Washiali, Deputy Chief Whip of National Assembly, Dr. Victor Munyaka and David Oyolo Alukhome.
The team will be led by Amb. Chol Mawut, South Sudan Representative to Kenya.
According to the leaked document, the MPs are moving a legislation motion in Kenyan parliament to ban Dr. Riek Machar from Kenya and to deport his family that is currently residing in Kenya.
Originally the MPs threaten to confiscate Machar’s property in Kenya, however, in his recent interview Machar has clarified that he has no property in Kenya or anywhere outside the country.
Machar admits that he has a family in Kenya but they are not involved in the conflict or in any scandal in South Sudan politics.
Machar also warns Kenyan MPs that they should not isolate themselves by trying to take one side in South Sudan’s conflict like what Uganda did at the beginning of the conflict.
Majority of the MPs supporting this motion are members of Jubilee coalition leaving members of Orange Democratic Party and Wipers Democratic Movement either undecided or in opposition.
According to Kalonzo Musyoka, Kenya’s Former Vice President and the Leader of Wipers Democratic Movement, Kenya alone cannot sanction South Sudan or  its leaders.

The former vice president has to go for exile because there is no hope of returning back to vice president. Let us see the new vice president general Taban Deng Gai if he will be able to bring peace among Southern Sudanese people. I hope he will success and that record will go to his vice president leadership.
Personal, I like people who will not take side but to show he is united Southern Sudanese people, the moderates people on both sides Dinkas and Nuers are needed to works very hard to stop tribalism and starting unified them and lived peaceful. The people like John Luke Jok and Barnaba Marial Benjamin and others are needed to built peace in the grassroots.
