Oct 15, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— The Luo Community in South Sudan is thinking deeply to withdraw Obama’s membership and identity from the Luo over the U.S. military aid extension to the government of South Sudan.

On October 7, 2016, President Obama issued a waiver to provide military aid to South Sudan. This waiver removed the Child Soldiers Prevention Act, 2008 to countries that recruits child soldiers. This decision wasn’t received well by many South Sudanese, particularly, the non-Dinkas who will be the victims of this military aid.

The U.S. Embassy in South Sudan, on October 13, 2016, issued a statement clarifying the status of this military aid which again brought more confusion to the non-Dinkas South Sudanese people. The question is, what’s the connection between the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) and Ceasefire and Transitional Security and Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) in the ARCISS? The role of the CTSAMM as stipulated in the ARCISS is to monitor compliance of the implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements (PCTSA).

It didn’t, however, mention that it shall also monitor the issue of Child Soldiers. If the U.S. wishes to fund the CTSAMM, it can fund it through the IGAD which is in-charge of the Agreement instead of channeling support directly to President’s government. This military aid has nothing to do with granting partial lifting of the CSPA to South Sudan.

To our understanding, the purpose of this military aid is to empower Dinkas both politically and military in order to continue with their brutality of killing non-Dinka in the country. This empowerment was vindicated by the military participation of Blackwater, an American security company, in pursuing to assassinate Dr. Riek Machar in the bushes of Equatoria, which was done with full knowledge of the US Embassy in Juba under Ambassador Phee.

This joint military US. – President Kiir offensiveness has offended non-Dinka in the country because the peace that they hoped for was killed by the President Kiir. It further assured the world with recognition of Taban Deng Gai as the First Vice President that the U.S is involved in killing of the ARCISS.

We are troubled by President Obama reluctant to resolve the conflict in South Sudan while Dinkas continue to use national resources (military aid) to kill every citizen in the country because President Kiir hails from them. The continuous blindfold of President Obama by John Kerry, Donald Booth and Phee is prolonging war in South Sudan.

President Museveni, Ambassador Molly Phee, Donald Booth and John Kerry have become honorary members of Jieng Council of Elders to pursue and kill every non-Dinka in South Sudan, and it’s ashamed to see our own son (Obama) involves in wiping out non-Dinka in South Sudan. The characters and values that President Obama has are of Luos: Intelligent, peaceful, democratic, and leadership but he has failed to diagnosis the issue of South Sudan by working with the dictator President Kiir.

Bob Marley once said, “If you don’t know where you come from, you don’t know where you are going.” President Obama should know that his origin is in South Sudan not U.S. The Luo land in South Sudan in Upper Nile, Equatoria and Bhar el Gazal has already been taken by Dinka and he still wants to empower the same Dinka to kill us more. The time for providing military aid will come in the future when peace comes but not at this time.
