July 29, 2016(Nyamilpedia) —— In a sudden change of events in South Sudan politic, the acting First Vice President, Taban Deng Gai, who promised to “happily step down” if his superior returns to Juba is now appealing to his “former Chairman”, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, to either stay in exile or come back to Juba to live peacefully as a regular citizen.

Taban reminds the citizens that Riek is stubborn and he has fought good leaders like Dr. John Garang, president Omar el Bashir, and now president Salva Kiir. For these reasons, Taban warns Riek to stay away from power because he is wrong.

“Riek is wrong and I am advising him that he should come back to Juba so that he come and stay peacefully or he go any where, he go to Addis Ababa or to Nairobi or to Kampala or to Khartoum to stay there peacefully and wait for election. so that you comes and elect him to office or you come and tell him, look we don’t trust you and we can’t elect you to office” Taban said.

Responding to Dr. Machar’s latest interviews, the acting First Vice President Taban Deng Gai, revealed Dr. Riek’s son death and used it for an emotional appeal to warn Machar that things won’t be any easier for him anymore, and therefore he should consider staying away from the seat of First Vice President until when time seems appropriate for his return to politics.

“What we have done in IO is legal. One, it is to save your lives and two to save the lives and unity of this country.” Taban said.

“He should be looking backward [to see the death of people], like this year he has lost even his son, his own son died in the shooting of J1.” Taban said

Taban is a family relative [an in-law] to Dr. Machar and the boy he was referring to has known him as an uncle.

Taban calls on his rival, Machar, to be very careful, really careful this time.

“I think he should be careful, he should be really very careful. He should know that it is not really worthy to lose lives and lives again.” he said.

Taban emphasized that Dr. Riek Machar disagreed with Dr. John Garang and caused death of many people while referring to earlier split in the rebel movement over the ideologies of Unity and Self-determination.

[ad name=”Google Ads 03″]

Taban also emphasized that Machar’s IGAD brokered peace agreement with Khartoum regime [1995-1997] also caused many death after Dr. Riek failed to work with Omar el Bashir, and now Machar’s disagreement with Salva Kiir is causing many death.

While promising to prevent death and unite the people, Taban seems to have a tough road ahead as many South Sudan citizens, home and abroad, believe in Machar’s leadership.

The retired general, Taban, does not command loyal of both political and military wings of SPLM/SPLA-IO, evidenced by supporters and generals’ condemnations in the last two weeks, and he is unlikely to convince the IDPs within Juba leave alone citizens in SPLM/SPLA-IO controlled areas.

This will not be the first time Taban has worked for and defected from Dr. Riek Machar. He abruptly defected to Dr. John Garang’s SPLM in a similar passion in 2002 after negotiating on Dr. Machar’s SPLM side.

The two parties were merged and Machar returned to his ranks and files in SPLM/SPLA but their rivalry dragged on until his[Taban] sacking in 2013 left him with no option but to ally with Machar.

One thing is this, the war is now in Equatoria, we are going to fininsh it right here because the first bullent for the revolution and the liberation of this country was heard this soil. Wait and see.

Taban seems to ignore the main fundamental differences and points of disagreements between his two new bossbosses tribal chief Kiir & M7, Hansen El Bashiir & tribal king Garang and Dr. Machar the one that actually set the bar so high as a vionary revolutionary icon. Sadly all the men he mention to have disagree with Dr. Machar are all lawless criminals.

Taban Deng Gai is our enemy number one this time more than Dinka, we have a very important vision for all South Sudanese lead by H:E Riak we shall never surrender until a sustainable peace is achieved in South Sudan when we shall eliminate the Dinkacratic ideologist and their Jenge council of Elders.

Why is it always about Dinkas and Nuer???? What about the rest of the tribes who don’t pick side and are always at peace. You all are just hard headed, thinking has become a greater problem.
You surely have lost your mind. You speak like some illiterate idiot. South Sudan needs peace that’s all that matters fuck all the leaders they are not worth that country. Perhaps they should all be killed. Freedom of speech and that’s my piece of mind

Action is the only thing left to bring sanity to South Sudan if IGAD will not bring in 3rd party force period. The betrayal and lack of desire for peace is beyond disbelief. Jaang ci ke lac.

Tutu, war is all about dying if the cause is just, so Nuers and the rest of South Sudanese who’ve now surrounded Juba will die so long as their cause is a just one. I am sure the dead dinkaz this time round is 10x more than the Nuer lost. I know you guys are still in bondage of lies, propaganda, deception and illusions by your jieng council of evils or idiots which am sure you’ll soon and forever regret having been cheated as such.

Viva SPLM
Viva South Sudan
Long live our blessed nation.
God bless South Sudan

I look at the situation in South Sudan and feel pity for the innocent junubiin. This unrest is nothing but tribalism.
Question: if Riek really wanted his country to have peace, why didn’t he wait for elections so that the citizens could elect him and lead this country? Why did he has to be a rebel in the first place?
Who then will he lead if he keeps on causing trouble especially to his own people?
Come on junubiin, we can do better that tribalism.

Dr. Machar will not be in Juba on your call nor third party forces being deployed in capital. We should shortly chock you if you’re not aware for what is going.

The strategy of Machar’s 1300 armed fighters mainly Nuers has left Kiir with more dead soldiers & disabled service men(Army) than a hospital for sick kids.

Taban is crazy, he must start apologizing to the people of South Sudan instead of further fading his future in the country coz he have betrayed us. We people of South Sudan need a true peace, a real determination and he should stop talking about Nuer Nuer Nuer, he rather talk about the 64 tribes of SS who are fighting for dat. He is just a puppet we can’t go by his betrayal side we are ready to finish for the sake of peace, equality and determination.

In every country there are (1) civilians not tribes and (2) politicians not tribes, why the difference in S. Sudan.
Stop being fooled by politicians on the ground of tribes and stop shedding blood of innocent citizens who are not even in social media particularly the fighters.
