May 07, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— Speaking at the parliamentary Affairs Ministry meeting, South Sudan’s First Vice President of the new TGNU government, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, calls on the South Sudanese leaders to take over primary responsibility of ensuring that the prisoners of wars, political detainees and IDPs are set free.

” The government must determine the future of internally displaced persons, they can’t remain in UN POCs when we have formed the transitional government”. Machar said.

According to Dr. Machar, releasing the prisoners and ensuring that the IDPs feel safe to resume their normal lives outside the Protection camps will boost the process of reconciliation and healing in the country.

“I reiterate that political and prisoners of war should be released from jail in order to bring stability and peace to South Sudan and in compliance with the peace agreement, I am aware that there are still prisoners of war in government detention centers.” Machar said during the induction workshop for the ministers of the TGNU in Juba.

On his social media account, Machar reiterates that there are fundamental issues that cannot be resolved by JMEC and other peace partners but the South Sudanese themselves.

“Therefore There are serious issues in the agreement that JMEC may not resolve or the CTSAMM may not resolve. It will be the cabinet that will resolve these issues if we all work together.”Machar said.

“We have peace agreement and now we have formed a transitional government of national unity, we cannot keep our citizens as prisoners of war. These are the immediate things that need to be done with the formation of transitional government.” he continued.

In regards to the issue of the forces in cantonment areas, the Opposition leader is ready to work out a solution with his counterparts to fund, train and orient the factional forces of South Sudan.

South Sudan’s Transitional Government of National Unity recognizes two armies under the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar Teny and Salva Kiir Mayardit, the independent presidency of the world’s youngest nation.

According to the Compromised Peace Agreement(CPA-II), the two armies will be merged to form South Sudan Defense Force after 18 months

Loud and clear, not in Pagak or in the bush but in Juba, the voice of a pure freedom fighter is echoing straight to beek, amen, tolio and the jenge council of awirin. The IO has taken 10 ministries which the jenge never dreamt of. But we are still pushing for true reforms with FEDERAL RULE as the top agenda.

beek, tolio must swallow their 28 states and let us see what the 2018 elections brings. The 63 tribes will decide against one tribe. What a sweet political ingredients.

beek and tolio, I told you this long ago but your ears were in your anus. Hope you have pulled them out WHEN HEARING THE IO VOICE IN JUBA.

Poor Dingit Na…
Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Don’t get excited yet but wait for the proponents of 28 States to swallow them first.
Your empty excitement can’t make you a winner in this sophisticated political battle.
Be prepared for 2018 elections in which the people of South Sudan will dampen all hearted-nyigateen of your kind into dustbin of history once and for all.
Do you really think your master is still capable of winning any political battle in cabinet?
Just wait for your big disappointment soon ya coward hiding behind unknown names.

He is the one who put his citizens in prisons. He should shut up and tell those people to come out from UN-MISS camps across. Nobody want to harm people of NUER of their wrong doing.
