Statement
October, 12th, 2014 (Nyamilepedia) On behalf of Nuer Community and Gawaar Community in Uganda, I call upon my people and the (Nuer intellectuals at large ) particular in Uganda and in the world to remain trustworthy on me peacefully like the way we have been over since the ten months.
The misunderstanding comes when some elements of Dinka put my name in social media about the denounced of Greater Upper Nile Students’ Union in Uganda to support the dead Government in Juba. Kiir’s government is doing not for me at all and therefore, I call upon all the students of Greater Upper Nile to join hands with SPLM in Opposition in order to remove the dull government in power.
What is the government of Kiir? The government of Kiir is the government of criminals by the criminals and for the criminals in Juba, South Sudan. The question is; which kind of government does Mr. President Kiir have in Juba? The kind of government Kiir have is the tribalism, nepotism, protectionism, sectarianism and the corruption government in Juba.
Am the one who creates ‘’We Support Dr.Riek Machar Teny( SPLM/ IO) which has 3,359 supporters in social media and therefore, I have not thing with Kiir’s government. Arrogant rule and abuse of human rights in South Sudan by the Kiir’s government. What we need is to bring a good leader like Dr.Riek Machar Teny, in order to promote justice and national development within South Sudan. President is not longer a president of people but a president of group or not all people of South Sudan. I believe those who are still in the government of Kiir is just desecrate of time. Proverb say that ‘’Better be the head of a dog then the tail of a lion’’ meaning it’s better to be the leader of a small group than a subordinate in a bigger one. Salva Kiir should be the chairperson of Warrap Community not South Sudan as in one piece.
My late father Michael Manyang Gatwech was killed by Kiir’s government, there is no way I can join such a government which killed by own father in 2011. The salary was cut off by same government. How can I join that government? I know am very important to all Nuer because I received 100 calls on 9th October, 2014 when Sudan Tribune published Greater Upper Nile’s confusion.
Somebody shocked me with a word I Ter Manyang Gatwech who represent Ayod students in that union have not been informed by Thanyang Jum therefore, Mr. President Thanyang has right to cook his decision which is the constitution of Greater Upper Nile Students’ Union in Uganda. To me it is’’ bogus ‘’accusation by element within Dinkas Community, they know am very strong man.
The main objectives of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition are to unite all the people of South Sudan. Social services delivery to the people, rule of law, human rights, participation, accountability, transparency etc.

Long live eye of people, which is Dr.Machar
